Summary
American sitcom set in New York following the exploits of stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld, his best friend George (Jason Alexander), former girlfriend Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and neighbour from across the hall Kramer (Michael Richards). Jerry typically finds silly reasons to break up with women, George is cheap, petty and envious of others' achievements, Elaine has a tendency to be very honest with people and Kramer comes up with wacky schemes that appear to work at first but then eventually fail. Created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David ("Curb Your Enthusiasm"), "Seinfeld" premiered in 1989 and ran for nine seasons. It can now be seen on Sky Atlantic.
