Summary
"Big Love" is an American drama about a fundamentalist Mormon family in Utah that secretly practises polygamy. Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton) is married to three wives, Barbara (Jeanne Tripplehorn), Nicolette (Chloe Sevigny) and Margene (Ginnifer Goodwin). Between them, they have nine children. Bill and Barbara's first daughter, Sarah (Amanda Seyfried), struggles to come to terms with her parents' decision to follow the principle of polygamy. Life becomes more complicated for the Henrickson family when their secret is exposed. The HBO series ran for six seasons. It premiered in the UK on Channel 5 in 2006.
