The ATP Finals has offered up plenty of drama in the first half of the action in Turin, Italy this week.
After two rounds of matches, homegrown hero Jannik Sinner is the man to beat after toppling World No.1 Novak Djokovic. Sinner leads the green group standings, while Stefanos Tsitsipas has withdrawn from the tournament through injury, replaced by Hubert Hurkacz.
In the red group, Daniil Medvedev leads the way. He is the only player yet to drop a set in the ATP Finals ahead of his battle with Carlos Alcaraz.
Reigning champion Djokovic triumphed in the 2022 edition of the competition after toppling Casper Ruud in straight sets.
The Serbian star returns as top dog following a blistering 2023 with three majors and a runners-up spot under his belt, as well as two ATP 1000 victories.
Plenty of attention will rightly fall on Alcaraz this week, but he has endured a relatively rocky run of form following a shock defeat at the first hurdle in the Paris Masters last time out.
